2020Shift Black Business Expo: HBCU Edition, Presented by Spotify and Mastercard
Black Business Expo, HBCU Edition, April 8 at Terminal West, will showcase the best and brightest in Black businesses, including alumni from Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University, at 2020Shift Black Business Expo: HBCU Edition, Presented by Spotify and Mastercard. This event is FREE to all Atlanta HBCU students, reported AccessAtlanta.com
Calling all students, if you are in the Atlanta area or thinking about planning a road trip to ATL you should definitely visit the Black Business Expo. Why? You need to put on your “fly professional” unit and go there ready to network. Set a plan to walk out of there with an internship or mentor. You need both right? How do you expect to attain those? This is an excellent chance to connect with local and national companies for internships and other hiring opportunities. Entrepreneurs will meet and connect while hearing from community and business leaders who will share their tips for success from across industries. There will also be a special tech startup pitch competition.
Other Tour Dates & Locations
The tour doesn’t stop there. Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee and The Khalif Event Center in Greensboro, North Carolina (students and alums at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, North Carolina Central University and Shaw University, they want you to come by!). Similar to Atlanta, they are inviting sought-after pros and facilitating important conversations to help current and past students take their career’s and venture’s to the next level.
