Suicide is an issue in today’s’ society and instead of sitting back and acting like it can’t happen to take the initiative to check on your loved ones. People often are afraid to speak up when they need help or don’t want to feel like a burden to the next person. You may not feel that you can help, but just being a listening ear to someone’s problem could be all the help they need. Suicide rates have gone up and especially for women.
