Beyoncé Collaborates With Topshop To Design Game-Changing Backless Cap For Natural And Curly Heads Everywhere
Let’s say it together, a great big adios to attempting to cram your curls to fit under your hat…why because Queen Bey has just created all natural hair and curly heads very best friend!
That’s right, Beyonce’s fashion line Ivy Park along with Sir Phillip Green, owner of the company behind Topshop designed a much-needed dad like cap that’s open in the back to let ‘big hair’ breath, and the great thing is, the caps are not only convenient, they’re extremely stylish.
Don’t believe me, take a look for yourself! How do you like the red velvet finishing look?
The cap is said to be running for about $35 and features the Ivy Park logo on the front of the cap and on the black band around the bottom of your head holding up the back.
Soon after the caps launched, they were sold out on both Ivy Park’s website and Topshop’s, but not to worry, you can head over to the Topshop site (the link at the end of this story) to find out when they’ll become available again.
The hats gained a ton of attention. We aren’t the only ones who totally adore this fashion cap. Several people on Twitter are excited about it as well. Twitter user @rocyonce posted a tweet that was shared over 15K times and accumulated (at that time) 30K likes. The Tweet: “BEY THEN CHANGED THE GAME OMGNANDFNJRENWJ.” Well, I guess she’s feeling it!
The cap will just really cut back on that early morning frustration when you’re in a rush to get to class, work or just a day of shopping at the mall or you could just not be having the best hair day for the third day in a row. Now, whether that’s the case, you’re feeling lazy or just have some massive curls (big hair), you can wear a baseball cap too, and with ease and comfort.
“The woman knows her audience. Women of color needed stuff like this for years. No one else cared to design for us, ” said Eva DuFerme.
We all say thank you Beyonce’!
