Cheyney’s Kevin Larkin ECAC Freshman of the Year
Cheyney University basketball standout Kevin Larkin has been named ECAC Freshman of the Year by the conference coaches. Larkin averaged a team-high 17.8 points a game in his first season playing for the Cheyney Wolves. He also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists a game.
Larkin was the only PSAC player to receive a postseason honor from the ECAC. In addition, he was named third-team Division II Boxtorow All-America, which highlights the top Black college players in the nation.
