Entrepreneurs: How Fiverr Helped Me Start My Business
The world of Entrepreneurship can be a big, scary and exciting place. Like many of you I knew I was an entrepreneur before I knew what I wanted to offer the world in that space, but I knew I wanted to create and through that creation give back to my community. One of the biggest obstacles that we as entrepreneurs face over and over again is investment capital. In order to grow a business you need funds period.
Thank God for technology!!!!! The world of technology and the boom of social media has changed the game. You don’t need Photoshop or adobe to create bomb graphics these days. There are so many apps that are merely drop and plug allowing you to create your own vision my favorite is Canva.com
In December of 2013 I made one of my first invest in myself and my business by joining a Mastermind group. What is a Mastermind group? Mastermind Group is where a group of peers/entrepreneurs come together and provide each other with feedback, help each others brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures that keep you focused and on track. This was one of the best investments I ever made into growing myself as an entrepreneur. I was able to network with like-minded entrepreneurs, got great advise and found out about Fiverr.com.
Fiverr is a global online marketplace offering tasks and services, beginning at a cost of $5 per job performed, from which it gets its name. The site is primarily used by freelancers who use Fiverr to offer services to customers worldwide. Currently, Fiverr lists more than three million services on the site that range between $5 and $500.
I have purchased more than 200 gigs most only costing $5 each. I have bought press releases, graphic design, virtual assistants, researchers, cartoon characters, social media tools, logo design, buttons and even business cards. Fiverr legit has everything you can think of, check it out!!
