Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Issues Letter to NFL Regarding Colin Kaepernick Being Blackballed

When one of your brothers is being “blackballed” by a multi-billion organization called the NFL, what do you do? Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell urging to issue a public statement about signifying an “all clear around team efforts to work out or negotiate with Mr. Kaepernick.”

Commissioner Goodell shared his thoughts about the protest during the national anthem on Monday below:

“Well, I think it’s one of those things where I think we have to understand that there are people with different viewpoints. It’s something that I think everybody wants. The national anthem is a special moment to me. It’s a point of pride. That is a really important moment,” Goodell said. “But we also have to understand the other side that people do have rights and we want to respect those”
