LeBron James Will Act In New Movie ‘Trainwreck’
The Miami Heat star LeBron James will act and try his hand on the big screen, which is not all that surprising. Every athlete, singer or super star is acting in some block buster hit these days. He will star in a Judd Apatow film “Trainwreck”
“I know you’re very busy with the playoffs. You need to win a certain amount of games to win… something,” Apatow told James in a Facebook video posted Wednesday night. “But I just wanted to say we’re so glad you’re joining the cast of my next film, ‘Trainwreck,’ and now the world will finally get to see what your true gifts are.”
The film, written by and starring Amy Schumer, also stars Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer, Tilda Swinton, John Cena, Mike Birbiglia and Method Man. It’s scheduled to hit theaters next summer.
James is also working with two other movie projects at the moment: a feature film about his days at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and a comedy called “Ballers,” starring Kevin Hart. The LeBron James App has also recently came out.
Hats off to LeBron for dominating the court and now working on his mogul game!
