After the take off of his career in 2013, Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has been making hits through is own label ‘Think Its A Game’ Records. While he had a decrease in his music from 2015-2016 he still managed to come through with numerous features with YFN Lucci, announced  thatTravis Scott, Yo Gotti, and more.

In February Rich homie told HNHH that recently signed with the historical MoTown records and Capitol music announced that he would be dropping new music this spring.

Today (April 14), at 27 years of age, Quan dropped his new album titled “Back To The Basic” with his single “Da Streets” that should be on the air waves in a city near you. The album has a 11 track stretch and discusses his street up bringing as a child and how it has altered his mindset musically and professionally.

” I don’t care how tired I get, Im gon’ still run up them bands,

Imma still count up my back end, imma still do it for my fam,

Just because I got a lil’ money, that do not define the person I am

I don’t give a f*** about what the critics say, Imma stack it up for them papers”

These lyrics are from song  “Back End” from his new album what is now streaming live.

Rich homies receives much clack because of his southern slang and vernacular.

After interviewing a few college students on their opinion about Rich homie Quan, Desmond Shief said “I have not heard the entire album but I do feel that rich homie is long over due for new music”.

“He is a great artist for the youth and makes music that gives me the motivation to grind” says Prairie View Alumni Breionne Brantley.
