#SaveMyEdges: Ways To Restore Your Edges

A few months ago, Centric came out with a public service announcement called “SaveMyEdges.org.” The PSA featured celebrities like Tatyana Ali, Jasmine Sullivan, Tinasche, and Jordin Sparks, all informing of us of an issue that is plaguing black women all over the world…we are loosing our edges.

After the PSA went viral, it prompted many black women to take the pledge and vow to save their edges. There are many ways to restore your edges to its natural state and here are the best ones.


Cayenne Pepper

It contains the capsaicin compound, which causes a higher rate of blood flow to the hair follicles from your hair roots. This is what causes your hair to grow.

Recipe: Mix 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper with your favorite oil, like castor or olive oil, in a bottle. Shake. Grow your edges.
