Everything was not so sunny in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Friday Afternoon (Dec 6).

After what investigators say took months of planning, 26-year-old Terrorist Esteban Santiago decided to open fire at terminal 2 at the baggage claim in Hollywood International Airport. Killing 3 people and Shooting nine, Esteban told CNN that he only brought a “one-way ticket, a gun, and two magazines”.

Innocent people were asked to evacuate the terminal just in case there was an additional shooter, but once the building was clear they were allowed to retrieve the rest of their items.

Close friends to the killer said that in the past few months he had sold his close possession, including his Red Ford Truck and they notice other small traits about him that seemed not the norm.

Santiago recently served as a member of the Puerto Rico and Alaska National Guard from 2007 to 2016. Close to the of his term, the shooter claimed that his mind had been controlled by the U.S. Intelligence Agency according to CNN.

Authorities have the shooter in custody and his hearing will be Monday (Dec 9). He is possibly facing the death penalty, but we will know more Monday night.
