Southern University Star Football Player Devon Gales Learns To Walk Again With the Help of Robotics
Southern University star football player, Devon Gales who was paralyzed during a game late September is now learning to walk with the help of robotics similar to a treadmill.
The incident happened with Georgia kicker Marshall Morgan on September 26, 2015, when Gales suffered a “devastating spinal injury as a result of an on-the-field collision.”
He’s been able to lift his left leg a few inches with the encouragement of his step-mother, Tanisha Gales.
After Devon’s press conference in February, the Tragedy over Triumph Foundation announced they will be building a wheel-chair accessible home for Gales.
