Uber For Kids Created By HBCU Grad LaQuita Foreman
Were you the kid who had soccer, basketball, piano, and tutoring all on the same day? Or were you the kid who was the last one waiting for their parents to pick them up? That was me!
Well, the kids these days have technology and social apps that allow them to handle their busy, stressful schedules. Well, now there is an Uber for Kids! Thanks to HBCU graduate from Saint Augustine’s University, LaQuita Foreman, for creating Natural Sproutz, “A Time-Saving Solution for Busy Parents.”
Foreman struggled to find a balance of taking her own children to school while she was working as a teacher as well. After taking a leap of faith, her first business, Natural Sproutz, was created in 2016.
Natural Sproutz is launching this summer by assisting working parents with children from 4 to 13 years old in the surrounding D.C. area. HBCU Buzz states that her goal is to ensure children do not “grow to be functioning adults in our society.”
