Red translates in any setting well, including the office and a night out with your friends. A red, belted dress with a blazer over top of it can look professional in the office, but, once the blazer comes off, the dress can hug your figure nicely. Add a bold pair of earrings, and you can slip in and out of professional and fun mode easily.

If there’s any item you should splurge on for your professional and personal life, it’s a nice pair of black pumps. These are great for the office and for a night out with your friends. Add a pretty peplum shirt, a pair of trousers, and a blazer and you’re set to go for office attire. Slip the blazer off and add a pair of statement earrings and you’re ready for a nice dinner with friends.

You can’t go wrong with a pretty and modest peplum shirt with a black pencil skirt. Peplum can hug your figure nicely while still remaining professional. Pencil skirts can be worn with a nice pair of flats and fun pair of pumps. As long as you keep the skirt at a professional length (right about the middle of your knees), this outfit can go with a meeting at the office or drinks with your girls.

Little black dresses are not normally appropriate for the office, but a black dress at the right length can look professional and sexy. Black dresses allow you to accessorize any way that you want; you can rock a bold pair of earrings or a colorful pair of shoes. I personally love neutral purses and heels with black dresses; this allows me to accessorize with my makeup and jewelry. I can rock a red lip or a bold bracelet. This outfit is perfect if you have plans for brunch or lunch with friends.
