Will Senator & Howard Alumni Kamala Harris Run For President in 2020

Long before she became a lawyer, a prosecutor, an attorney general and a groundbreaking U.S. Senator, Kamala Harris was a young thinker, dreamer, and doer at Howard University.

“Howard is where I first ran for office as a freshman,” Harris, 52, said in an exclusive interview with NBC News. “I remember walking up to people on campus asking for their votes.”

Last November, Harris became only the second African-American woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate in history, representing her native California. Stated ABC News

So will she run in 2020? Would you vote for her?

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is “absolutely” running for president, according to one fundraiser, after Harris raised money among former Hillary Clinton supporters at a fundraiser in the posh Hamptons in New York last weekend.

Of course, she hasn’t announced that she is running, that would be a little premature. But I think it;s safe to say she will have the support of HBCU’s and African American Women. Some of you may have seen the viral videos, in which she is basically told to be quiet during the Senate committee hearings because she was “interrupting and badgering witnesses.” What I saw was a leader leading and not taking any shit. See for yourself
