1. Bohemian Grove, California
There is a place in the world in particular, California, where the richest, most famous, and most powerful people in the world come to shed some power. Allegedly, wild parties are held here, where the authorities do not disdain alcohol either. The 2,700-acre camp is located in Monte Rio, not far from San Francisco. The gatherings are very historic as they started in 1872 according to Vanity Fair. And if anyone attempts to appear uninvited, it is very likely that they will be arrested for trespassing.
2. Area 51, Nevada
Yes Yes. Everyone has heard of Area 51. If you try to enter, you will be caught by either the FBI, CIA, or aliens. Area 51, located in the remote Nevada desert, doesn’t actually appear on any public U.S. government maps, though the buildings can be seen on satellite imagery, according to history.com.
Conspiracy theorists have long speculated that the government is using Area 51 to experiment on aliens and their spaceships. Over the years, Area 51 has been used by the CIA, the US Air Force, and an airline as an experimental flight station for experimental aircraft. Whatever it is, it’s safe to say that this complex will likely always keep its secrets.
3 – Lascaux Caves (France)
The Lascaux Caves preserve the original cave paintings, which received great attention for many years, but were closed to the public in 1963. According to reports, Lascaux received about 1,500 visitors a day, and soon the carbon dioxide in human breath began to damage the famous cave paintings from the Stone Age the old. 6 – Poveglia (Italy)
Poveglia, the small island between Venice and Lido, is said to be haunted, and the local government has reportedly banned visitors. 8. Svalbard Global Seed Repository (Norway)
It’s what it sounds like: a true seed store, designed to stand the test of time and store seeds for extended periods of time in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. According to its website, most of the seeds in the world can be found here. Virtual visits are permitted, but not in person. Research professionals are an exception to this.
9 – North Sentinel Island (Andaman Islands)
Yeah. This is probably the scariest place on our list, and for good reason.
In recent years, a 26-year-old American adventure blogger and evangelical missionary has been murdered on the island by the isolated tribe who claim this place as their exclusive home.
Deep in the Indian Ocean lies North Sentinel Island, where an Aboriginal tribe has lived for about 60,000 years. Islanders are known to shoot arrows or throw stones at low-flying planes, and in 2006 residents of Szentinelli killed two poachers for coming too close to their shores.
Needless to say, the Government of India abandoned its efforts to contact the people who live there and the government banned visits to the island. In fact, it is forbidden to approach the island within three miles.
10 – Ilha da Queimada Grande (Brazil)
“Snake Island” – what’s wrong?
This place is home to thousands of golden vipers, a particularly nasty and deadly viper. The Brazilian government does not allow it to be visited by anyone except scientists, many of whom lost their lives during their research on the island.
