Tutkomlos – July 20, 2024.
The Tótkomlós International Senior Swimming Competition, organized by Tótkomlós Rozmároks and Rózsa Fürdő for the 19th time, cannot be excluded from the season for senior swimmers. The event, known for its excellent atmosphere, was very popular this time too, despite the fact that the date coincided with the swimming in Lake Balaton this year, but swimmers from all over the country, even from Romania and Serbia, came to the quiet county town. Szentesi Delfin ESC was represented by 9 athletes over the weekend, and a group of teams completed a successful competition and won 37 medals (19 gold, 11 silver, 7 bronze). In addition to the usual 33-meter sprint numbers, those interested can also take part in the 133-meter medley race, as well as in the team and family relay races.

Open water results:
In addition to pool competitions, the summer season also revolves around open water competitions, which the “dolphins” love to participate in. On July 13, the next event of the Open Water Championship took place on the Szentendre Danube branch between Szentendre and Budakalász. Roland Horvath III. age group, took 8th place with a time of 0:44:10.
A week later, Roland had already set foot on the “Hungarian Sea”, completing the 5.2 km of the 42nd Lidl Balaton Swim, between Rivfölöp and Balatonboglar, in 1:29.39, finishing 53rd in the men’s field. However, he was not done yet, as he set off to Lake Balaton again with his 10-year-old pupil Greta Boggi from the Sintis swimming club. Greta swam across the lake for the second time, finishing ninth in her age group with a time of 2:16:35.
