4th place in Sigande
On Saturday, our U10 team participated in the 13th round. He played in the international junior football tournament.
János Szabó's youngsters traveled to Sigand on Saturday morning to test themselves at international level for the second time this year. In the group stage, our team met the teams of KBSC, Alsózsolca, Kassa and FILO. After three matches, they emerged victorious, but Casa proved their superiority by one goal. In continuation, 4-6. Our boys were able to fight for a place, finishing the one-day tournament in fourth place.
– This year, for the second time, we competed in this creativity tournament, but now the players who did not get a chance last month got a role, and two younger children from the U9 age group joined our team. We won confidently in our first two group stage matches, as our success was never really in jeopardy. After that, we were able to compete with Cassia for first place in the group. We were closer to winning this match as well, we were more proactive, and created a lot of chances, but the many missed chances were avenged in the end, so we could only play fourth in attack. We have overcome this obstacle, even if it was more difficult, but successfully. Looking at the whole tournament, there were good individual performances, we showed that we were united at team level, I saw encouraging periods, and the players applied many of the elements of the principles I asked for.
