If there's a place worth celebrating World Music Day in the capital, it's the House of Hungarian Music, surrounded by the trees of Varosliget. Within the walls of the unusual building designed by Sou Fujimoto, but also in the immediate vicinity of the building, there are many opportunities to immerse yourself in music and free music. The repertoire of music and concert performances covering all age groups is very broad, but this also applies to the repertoire of music-related programmes, exhibitions and performances.

Academy of Music
The Academy of Music, founded in 1875, is located on Ferenc Liszt Ter, decorated with a statue of Ferenc Liszt, between the Oktogon and the Opera. High-quality music courses did not move into the building's walls until 1879, when the institution of professional music education did not begin its work here for the first time. Since the beginning, world-famous orchestras and soloists have performed in the Academy of Music's concert hall, so it's definitely worth following the program for high-quality musical entertainment.
