700 policemen are waiting for 15 stray elephants in 10 Chinese cities with 10 tons of corn and pineapple

Their goal is to guide the herd with trucks, drones, and food on a route from which they can safely leave the city. Residents were asked not to expose the elephants to food, stare, keep them away and not disturb them with fireworks or fireworks.

It is not yet known why the elephants set out, and it is conceivable that they are looking for a new home, but it is also possible that a new, inexperienced leader may have taken over and simply lost.

The Asian elephant is under increased danger, in China in the wild there are only 300 individuals of this species, most of them in Yunnan Province. (BBC)
