Index – FOMO – Princess Catherine hides books in public places in Britain

Princess Catherine, Prince William’s wife, helped put together the book “Hold Still” for the National Porté Gallery, which recalls the key moments of the pandemic last year. It has 100 personal photos, and the proceeds from the copies sold are donated to charity. The event conceals 150 volumes across the United Kingdom, some of which were hidden by the Duchess of Cambridge in public places in Britain.

The princely couple’s official Instagram page also shows a video showing how Catherine, dressed in red, puts up a book near Kensington Palace.

Not only can anyone lucky to find a cached copy like the pictures, but they can also be surprised: The princess has attached a letter to each volume, and now anyone can read its lines, as the researcher has shared on Twitter.

Dear researcher! The book Still Still is an illustrated documentation of photos taken during the lockdown due to Covid-19 last year. The pictures tell us about the challenges we all have been through, but at the same time they bring us together in extraordinary ways at times. (…) Once you finish the book, please give it to someone from your company so they can enjoy it as well. He wishes you all the best, Catalin

The princess wrote in her letter, adding that she is proud to be part of the project.

As far as the book sector is concerned, it appears to be a big trend nowadays among the royals (and in part only the former royal). Meghan Markle recently finished Private writingInspired by Father’s Day poem.
