Ferenc Gyurcsany has complete control over Christmas
Our staff visited Lillafüred, where most of the respondents spent the day in the company of their friends and family members.
Visitors to the area sat at several tables on the terrace of Medvetalp Bistro. Bistro owner Peter Szabo said he was a little more shy than he had been before Covid, but that guests would come to them for a bit of the scrumptious food.
– Fortunately we have a large balcony so the use of a mask is not mandatory and the distance can be made comfortable. Looking forward to summer with great hope the old wheelhouse hospitality will work again. We plan to be open now all season and on weekdays starting the second week of summer vacation. We like to conjure up an authentic setting of history from the balcony, with live music, mood lighting and dinner evenings, because I find that a lot of young people visit Lillaford, even in the evening, when the space isn’t open anyway – Peter tells them about their future plans.
Andrea, Nicoletta, Akos and Peter were sitting on the balcony of the bistro when we spoke to them. A member of the group of friends, Peter, revealed to ask us that their friends came from Budapest so they could spend two days together from their long weekend.
“We wanted to show them Lillaford, because they hadn’t seen the waterfall yet.” We originally started hiking in Bükk, but since rain feet are constantly dropping, we have come to a place where you can take cover if the sky breaks down. We also visited Saint Stephen’s Cave, which kids loved very much. In the evening we make hamburgers and end the day with dinner together. Our friends then head to Nyíregyháza, where one of their parents lives, and we plan to relax in the future. Due to the fact that restrictions were relaxed and the calendar was already full, the programs that had been missed so far were crowded. Peter said workplace trainings, meetings, and vacations can eventually happen.
Barbara White also came with her husband and two children from the capital. Hotel guests in Miskolctapolca for three days.
“My husband and I got vaccinations, so we thought we could finally go out on Pentecost. We arrived on Friday, Lillaford is our first stop, as we have gone to the hotel several times. We left the car in the basement to try the Light Rail with the kids, drove around Hamory Lake, and were impressed By the waterfall, but we left the cable car now due to the weather. On Sunday, Aggtelek Stalactite Cave is the destination, so is Rudabánya, and we also want to enter the Fairy Garden in Miskolc. We are excited that the rain will not drown in our calculations, but it looks like we are getting away with it. The cave hadn’t opened yet because we didn’t want to forcibly swim yet – we learned from our mother.
