The Polish company believes that the performance and stability of their game released in December has already reached a “satisfactory” level.
So, six and a half months…or rather six months (so don’t include the Christmas and New Year period too much in the December period!). That’s what CD Project RED needed to call Cyberpunk 2077’s performance satisfactory (although, in the PlayStation Store, Sony has explicitly stated that the game is not recommended on the base PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 4 Slimen: the company publicly recommended it). Whether it’s the best experience on PlayStation 4 Pro or PlayStation 5!), which still doesn’t mean the end of the tunnel. Keep in mind that the Poles still owe the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series versions. (This will arrive sometime in the second half of the year.)
Adam Kisinski, CEO of the CD Project, spoke at WSE Innovation Day and about that Polish IGN reported. According to him, the stability is already at a sufficient level, but they also dealt a lot with the overall performance of the game (since the base versions of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One khm … suffered a lot when it was released in December), and consider themselves satisfied with it.
He even indicated that bug fixes and glitches are not forgotten, as this will continue. Over time, public systems fixes will also be released that players say still require some work, so (in addition to the next-gen version) they’ll still be working on the game, which definitely won’t get DLC until a Cyberpunk patch is in place.2077. In short: there is not much opportunity this year…
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently on patch 1.23, and it was the update that arrived for gamers shortly before the return of the PlayStation Store. Performance has improved, yes, but the base PlayStation 4 is still on a bumpy road (here’s a look at Digital Foundry’s analysis, which current performance.)
