What does the Christian approach to the economy mean today? – A new version of Sapientia Hungarian Post has been published

What does the Christian approach to economics mean today, in the twenty-first century, what makes it a paradigm shift?

The KETEG (Christian Social Principles in Economics) training and mission reached an important point on November 16, 2019: it became the theme of the Sapientia Day series of events. The teachers in the Economics Unit introduced a Christian approach to organizational practices and economic activities in the areas of life and operation of KETEG.

A compiled and modified version of the lectures is available to readers interested in people-centered economics with Volume 36 of the Sapientia Handbook Series, jointly published by L’Harmattan and the Sapientia College of Monastic Theology.

On Sapientia Day, November 16, 2019, the audience was introduced to the results of the KETEG training model as an alternative approach to the prevailing economic concept in the field of economics. The novelty of the KETEG training is that in addition to teaching specific economic fields with a people-centered approach, theological, philosophical and social science subjects are also taught by specialist teachers who are recognized experts in their field from Sabentia College and Corvinus University in Budapest. Among them were the Sabentia Day speakers, whose performances are included in the volume.

The publication also includes an important study by Laitz Laura OP: Christian Ethics and the Big Five of Technology – A Disturbed World of Opportunity, which can now be read for the first time in Hungarian.

In the new publication that In the college library can be purchased They can take a look On the Sapientia website.
