So far, 1,74327,080 people worldwide have been infected with the coronavirus, with 3,755,614 deaths at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore CET Thursday morning, according to MTI.

A day earlier, 173,998,753 people were registered, with 374,7372 deaths. That is, the number of infected people increased by more than 328 thousand, and the number of deaths by 8,242 people. Infection is present in 192 countries and territories. Experts say the number of diagnosed cases does not accurately reflect reality because the number of tests is somewhat limited in each country, and registration criteria also vary.

  • According to official data, a disease called Covid-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is the most common in the United States, with 3,341,025 infected and 598,764 killed.
  • In India, 2,908 9,069 cases and 353,528 deaths have been recorded.
  • In Brazil, 1,712,877 people were infected and 479,515 were killed.
  • In France, 5,787,125 infected and 110,364 deaths were recorded.
  • Turkey has so far recorded 5,306,690 injuries, including 48,428 deaths, according to official figures.
  • In Russia, the number of confirmed infections rose to 5,096,657, and the number of deaths rose to 122,802.
  • In the UK, 4,551,694 people have been infected and 128,124 have died from the disease.
