Many responded to the charges brought against Activision Blizzard last week, with several former and former Blizzard workers saying the indictment is true, while some company executives are not acknowledging what is in the lawsuit. Leaked internal correspondence revealed that, for example, while Activision chief Rob Kostich made the staff spirit to turn to him and HR any time they felt offended, Francis Townsend wrote an entirely different voice. Townsend described the procedure as uninteresting and in many cases declared distorted or wrong. By the way, Townsend leads the network of female employees of the company.

According to the letter, Townsend’s letter is intimidating and offensive to all that the company should stand for. The authors of the letter said they no longer trust the company’s leaders and called on them to show empathy for the victims and take meaningful steps to create a safer environment.

“We stand up for all our friends, comrades, colleagues, and committed community members who have been subjected to any form of abuse or harassment. We will not be silenced, we will not stand by, and we will not give up until we are all proud of the job we love again. We will be the change.” The employee stands in an open letter.
It emerged last week that the state of California sued Activision Blizzard for sexual harassment and sexual discrimination in the workplace. The indictment includes “boy culture” and the fact that female employees at the company are paid less than their male counterparts. Since then, several former executives have admitted to redeeming the workers and apologizing to the victims, including Mark Morheim and Chris Metzen.
