The company has a very ambitious plan, as it wants to double its sports base from 230 million to 500 million players in the next five years. The company has acquired several studios in recent months, with the biggest acquisition being Codemasters. The new Grid has already been announced at this year’s EA Play Live event, and on August 10, Codemasters 5-player games will be added to EA Play and Game Pass, including F1 2020 and Dirt Rally 2.0.
