The highest daily rate of coronavirus infection in the past three months has been measured in the UK. During the past 24 hours, more than 45,000 new cases were registered and 57 died due to complications from the infection. The National Bureau of Statistics estimates that an increase in recent weeks means that every 60 people in the island nation have contracted the virus.
The government plans to allocate separate clinics to vaccinate young people between the ages of 12 and 15, as this age group has the highest rate of positive cases.
Record numbers were also set in Russia: more than 34,000 new cases were reported and 997 died of infection.
The authorities are asking doctors who choose voluntary isolation, or simply the elderly, to vaccinate themselves and return to work to relieve pressure on the health care system.
In the Romanian capital, there are 16 infected people per 1,000 people, according to official figures. The police are constantly monitored by the police: in crowded places such as markets, a green vaccination card and/or an individual statement of responsibility is required.
Several Italian cities protested against the certificate of vaccination: the so-called to pass it became mandatory in all workplaces. On Sunday, protesters closed the gates of the port of Genoa and joined the Trieste dock workers who had been in a constant sit-in.
