Netflix’s Formula 1 series, Drive to Survive, is very popular among fans, especially in the US, where the series has been a huge hit with a lot of people interested in the sport.
However, there is also a lot of criticism of Drive to Survive – this is because they are often bent on reality to achieve a more dramatic effect. This is not like at all Red Bull RacingPilot for Max Verstappen, who said he didn’t want to be on the series.
“I understand that this is necessary to make the sport more popular in the United States. However, as a rider, I do not want to be involved in this,” the world champion leader explained Associated Press.
“I’ve been involved in previous seasons, so my sentence didn’t get pasted in context where I said it. Many things were falsified. They also created rivalries that didn’t even exist.”
