Graeme Fish won the world record Friday at the World Speed Skating Championships in Salt Lake City.
Canadian jockey, just behind him, fellow gold medalist Ted Jean Bloemen, who overtook the gold medal by 5,000 metres, surpassed the record with a time of 12: 33868 minutes, almost 2.5 seconds better than the previous record.

In the race distance, that is, 500 meters, both sexes won the paper form: the Russian Pavel Kolezhnikov became the world champion for the third time, while the women’s Olympic champion Kodaira Nao was the fastest for the second time.
The Japanese won the women’s chase team competition.
