The Car – According to the type designation on the left side of the trunk lid – It’s called the i3, and it provides another offensive surface in BMW’s naming: the i3 was known around the world as a small urban electric car in Bavaria, and the i3 is still part of the range, and it is possible that the sedan’s accessory was used for precision. The leaked images show the Chinese model, which, in addition to the Chinese label, can be deduced from the designation of the eDrive 35L: the extended version with the L mark is not available in other markets.

Not much is known about the car’s drivetrain yet, but the eDrive 35 is likely to be the entry-level. You’ll likely get the five-door i4 that has already been introduced: it will be the mid-range eDrive40 (340 hp, rear-wheel drive, 590 km range) and the M50 (540 hp, all-wheel drive, 520 km range).

In addition to the facelift, the exterior of the car features the usual “i” accessories: closed kidneys, new aero rims and an i4-style rear bumper. If requested by the customer, the vehicle will be delivered without blue entries confirming the electric motor. Of course, BMW has not confirmed the authenticity of the photos, but the car will debut in a few months, so everything will be revealed in March at the latest.
