Netflix productions received the most nominations for the Producers Guild of America (PGA) Grand Prix: Netflix is among the top ten nominees for the Best Picture category.
Netflix tops the list of Best Movies nominees with the following films:
- do not search!
- between the claws of the dog
- Tag, put… Boom!
But two Warner Bros films are also award-winning:
Also among the nominees is the biographical drama Aaron Sorkin: Life in Ricardo. Like the CODA production of Apple +, Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast autobiography, Paul Thomas Anderson’s romantic drama Licorice Pizza, or Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story.
For TV productions, you can get awards in the dramatic field such as The Maiden’s Tale, The Succession, The Morning Show, Yellowstone, and Squid Game. Among the sitcoms, in addition to Cobra Kai, Ted Lasso, and Hacks, Only Murders in the Building and Semi-Empty are available to grab.
However, important films such as The Tragedy of Macbeth, directed by Joel Coen, and the latest Bond film, No Time to Die, portrayed by Daniel Craig, are missing from the prize field.
The 33rd Producers Guild of America Awards will be held on March 19 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
