And the European team equalized 43.7 seconds before the end of the match with Marek Hrivik. Although there was plenty in extra time, there was no goal, and Peter Chilirick’s equaliser was decisive.
The Slovak national team will meet the winner of the Swedish-Canadian fencing in the semi-finals on Friday.
