Last week, Coca-Cola launched Starlight, whose fuzzy-flavored soda was inspired by space itself. Pepsi began experimenting with coffee-flavored drinks for this purpose, and then discovered that it did not outperform the competitor.
PepsiCo announced on Wednesday:
We are gearing up for our most ambitious achievement yet, which is It’s the first of its kind to feature a nitrogen-containing cola that has a creamier, smoother taste than conventional soft drinks.
Their new creation called Pepsi Nitro will be unveiled in America on March 28 with the usual vanilla flavor.
What will change in it? When we open the Pepsi Nitro box, it will automatically start to foam because the nitrogen gas will create a silky, foamy texture, so the company recommends that
Be sure to drink it or serve it without ice or a straw.
By the way, nitrogen is mostly found in coffee (such as a cold brew, which Starbucks successfully sells) and beer. As the beer is tapped in front of us and the new brew of that brand comes out of the can, the company has found a way, a nitrogen-filled capsule, which releases steam when opened, creating a smooth foam.
Pepsi hopes that the innovation of alcohol-like products will make its drinks popular again.
