Blinken: Putin rejected all proposals

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said at a press conference in Washington with his British counterpart Liz Truss, Wednesday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin denied any US offer to ease the conflict in Ukraine, preferring to intensify his military presence.

We have sought to provide opportunities for President Putin. He is the only one who can decide to live with them or not. So now, whenever he gets the chance, he gets on the throttle and continues down this horrible path.

Blinken said.

The US secretary of state said he does not understand what Moscow means, as Ukrainians have shown in the past two weeks that they will not accept any puppet government that Putin will try to appoint after replacing the current Ukrainian government still in power.

Blinken added that Moscow’s attempt would lead to long-term bloody chaos. Senior US defense officials said last month that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was aimed at “decapitating” the government of an Eastern European country.

The US Secretary of State called Russia’s proposal to create humanitarian corridors between Ukraine and Russia absurd. The head of the ministry also called on Moscow to allow the safe departure of Ukrainian civilians.

To suggest that the Ukrainian people are seeking asylum from the same government that takes their lives for granted is offensive.

he added.

Liz Truss said at a press conference that the UK will provide Ukraine with air defense systems.

Truss also spoke of the UK not seeking to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine’s humanitarian corridors, as this would lead to a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia.

The British prime minister added that his country wanted Russia to be completely excluded from the international SWIFT network of communications and interbank transactions, and for the G7 countries to stop using Russian oil and natural gas.

We need to double our penalties

– Tell.

According to Truss, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is causing enormous pain and suffering, but Putin is not moving as quickly as he had planned.
