“We hear from military experts that one of the pretense of these attacks is that Russia decided to destroy arms shipments that Ukraine receives as supplies from the West,” the minister noted.
He stressed that this development also indicates the importance of the previous Hungarian government’s decision not to transfer lethal weapons to Ukraine on its territory, and this will remain the case.
He noted that he spoke this morning with the Hungarian ambassador to Ukraine, who indicated that Lviv is peace, so The Hungarian embassy there could still be operated on a temporary basis. He added that fewer and fewer Western countries now maintain ambassadors in Ukraine, but Hungary continues to operate its embassy and the ambassador will remain abroad.
