Samsung introduced One UI 4.0 with Android 12 last year, but the Galaxy S22 phones, which debuted in February, have already received a new version called One UI 4.1. Fortunately, the manufacturer has been taking updates very seriously lately, and a batch of devices has already received the current system.
One UI 4.1 was the first interface that the previous generation of top models received, and they’ve gone through it all the way, with updates coming back to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 mobile phones in some regions. They did the same with bendable models, each Flip and Fold coming out with the latest system.
There have been a lot of mid-range phones in recent weeks, with One UI 4.1 available for all versions of the Galaxy S20 FE, and some of the newer Galaxy A series phones, such as the Galaxy A52 5G, A52s 5G, and A71 5G.
It is important to note that the exact update time may vary by region and may vary by service provider, so there may be variations of several weeks. If you haven’t received the new interface yet, don’t despair, wait patiently.
Not surprisingly, One UI 4.1 is very similar to One UI 4.0, and the interface and features are very similar, but there are some innovations and a number of bug fixes from Samsung. So anyone who might not have been too happy with the original Android 12 update (One UI 4.0) can rightly trust that the current version will be even better.
Innovations in One UI 4.1 include a custom factory calendar app, an updated gallery app, and a revamped RAM Plus feature that lets you choose how much virtual memory you want to run at the expense of internal storage. Previously, only 4 GB of fixed space could be used, but now it is possible to set 2, 4, 6 or even 8 GB. There are also new gadgets, and Note models have been expanded with Note Pen models. (Exact innovations and options may vary by device.)
Have you ever received One UI 4.1? If so, are you happy with that?
