Ford Motor Company is expanding its highly profitable truck range with the new “Tremor” off-road model of the F-150 pickup truck.
2021 F-150 Tremor, announced on Tuesday, features upgrades to all-terrain equipment as well as several new features in Redesigned version of the pick-up, Which reaches nationwide to merchants across the country. The Tremor model is expected to go on sale next summer, according to Ford.

The new version of the F-150 is Ford’s latest attempt to grow loyal truck customers and increase profits by taking advantage of the increasingly popular off-road models. It adds to the existing Tremor models offered on its Super Duty trucks as well as the midsize Ranger truck.
Ford’s F-Series trucks are the company’s cash cow, generating the majority of the company’s profits and nearly $ 42 billion in annual revenue, according to a study commissioned by Ford from the Boston Consulting Group. Ford’s auto revenue was $ 143.6 billion in 2019.

The F-150 Tremor features special badging and design elements as well as additional off-road capabilities, including improved suspension and shocks and a “bash plate” to protect the vehicle’s undercarriage. It also adds 33-inch all-terrain tires mounted on 18-inch matt wheels, a wider 1-inch stance and standard four-wheel drive. The car is powered by a 3.5-liter Ford V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ford hasn’t released pricing for the F-150 Tremor, but it could come somewhere between an equally equipped model with its current off-road package, at around $ 45,000, and a Ford 2020 F-150 Raptor Performance truck, which starts at $ 53,455.
