NASA submitted its mission to Mars | Science

NASA has revealed the latest draft of its mission to Mars – 4 astronauts are scheduled to be deployed for a shorter period of time – 30 days – but there have also been questions from the general public.

NASA wants to send astronauts to Mars in the late ’30s or early ’40s, but that’s for now. It is a very serious economic and technological challenge. During the roughly 500-day journey, for example, the microgravity environment can have a strong effect on astronauts’ bodies, making research more difficult on Mars, where gravity is only a third of Earth’s.

The crew expects to send about 25 tons of equipment during a previous mission. At the moment, a file is available NASA For astronauts, his crew is considering a hybrid powered spacecraft that could also serve as accommodation to avoid a number of problems up front.

Otherwise, only two of the four sent astronauts could enter the planet as planned. The mission plan is still very rudimentary and by the time you get there, a lot may change. For this reason, NASA has not yet published standard information or a formal contracting procedure for this project.
