Emmanuel Macron said in an interview Friday night that the Russian president had made a historic and fundamental mistake by accelerating Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba dismissed Macron’s reasoning in a message posted on Twitter, saying such calls could “insult France and any other country that demands it”.
“Russia humiliates itself. We should focus instead on how to reform Russia. It will bring peace and save lives,” Kuleba wrote.
