Humorist László Szikra loves extreme sports, so water and/or snow are always important aspects when choosing a destination. His dream is to dive into a cage with giant white sharks off the coast of South Africa or Australia.
Coloré: How are things going this summer?
Laszlo Sikra: With lots and lots of work and little rest. Thank God my entire summer is scheduled with the shows you’ve been laughing about all summer. There is no time to relax precisely at this time, at most to associate pleasure with useful, as I travel the country, and for a day or two of “lightning holidays”: if you are already in the area, we will check. Anyway, for me, the shows are also a kind of refreshment because
The laughter, the applause, and the fact that I bring joy to people make me feel as if I was relaxing on the beach with a delicious and refreshing cocktail.
Especially if the cocktail is replaced with a delicious iced beer.
Do you have a favorite that you go back to regularly?
Of course, the new places are attractive too, but there are some areas that I really like to go back to. This is, for example, Lake Balaton, the Danube, Lake Tisza or Matra, and for a long time I can mention the places that I visit several times a year.
What is the primary consideration when traveling?
The sights, gastronomy, and culture are very important, because I love to get rich with new experiences, taste new foods and drinks, see local sights, and talk to people. I love water and snow, so water and winter sports always play an important role in choosing a destination.
What is your most memorable vacation or adventure so far?
The location is Balatonfüred: this is where I tried surfing for the first time in my life, which was more of a comic film than a sports show. (Anyway, I was born out of it until a show!)
Fortunately, I’m kind of Mr. Bean in the first place, so something very funny always happens to me. It could also be because I like extreme sports so I’m not good at all of them,
But the adrenaline makes up for everything because I like to do my best. I’d say I’m only afraid of four things in life and everything that begins with the letter “A”: woman, mother-in-law, mother, APEH.

yes. I can’t lie in one place for more than 10 minutes, I can always go. Shower, walk, exercise, stroll, eat, drink no matter where, let’s go. I even get it from time to time, “Lassi, they made you run a tutu.”
how do you spend your free time?
Although I really enjoy reading and watching good movies, I have very little to indulge in these feelings due to lack of time. That is why in my spare time, good books have been replaced by playing with my young son, and good films by the joy of playing sports and sports.
Are there any places in your boot menu that you definitely want to get to at once?
What I really want to experience at least once in my life is cage diving with great white sharks off the coast of South Africa or Australia. I have loved the water, the sea and the ocean since the beginning, and I have always admired sharks for their perfection.
where do you want to live?
At home, in Hungary. I like to live here, everything is connected here, family, friends, gastronomy, the beauty of our language. Although I enjoy traveling and seeing many, many places abroad, I can’t stand anywhere for more than a week or two and by that time I’m so homesick that I can’t wait for the moment to come home.
For me, Hungarian cuisine is the tastiest, Hungarian brandy is the tastiest, and the Hungarian language is the most amazing in the world!
