Costa Cruises’ two vessels, Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze, will welcome North American guests along a new concept starting next season, joining the fleet of Italian shipping company sister company, American Carnival Cruise.
The new Costa by Carnival brand will debut in the spring of 2023, when Costa Venezia joins the Carnival fleet, and its sister ship, Costa Florence, will arrive in the United States in the spring of 2024.
The boats will operate with a show that combines Costa’s Italian style and the services, food and entertainment enjoyed by Carnival guests. Until next season, the two ocean plans will continue to operate on Costa Standard Roads.

Mario ZanettiChief Costa Cruises said of the collaboration: “We are excited to see Costa’s iconic ships make their US debut under the leadership and control of Carnival under our sister brand. Costa adds to its beautiful Italian-designed ships. Leisure.”
Kristen DuffyThe president of Carnival Cruise Line added that they also decided to work together because Asian cruises are slower to start again, but many in the United States are eager for the cruise. In this way, they take the opportunity to take advantage of the synergies so that as many North American guests as possible can learn about the best services of the two companies, giving them a unique experience of Italian culture, food and atmosphere.
Costa Cruises will soon announce the ships that will replace Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze on European itineraries, including an exclusive Turkish program from Istanbul.
