They heard a bang on the way, and after landing, the passengers saw the big hole in the Emirates plane

After landing, passengers of an Emirates flight from Dubai to Brisbane, Australia, turned away from the plane when they noticed a large gap in the side of the plane. Passengers on the Airbus A380 felt a slight explosion shortly after takeoff, but suspected that one of the wheels might have been defective.

After landing, the craft apparently did not fly any further, although according to an Emirates statement, the hole did not cause serious damage to the fuel tank or the fuselage. The pilots themselves did not know exactly what happened on the way, as they suspected a hole in the landing gear, so they asked Australian airport staff to have rescue teams waiting for them on landing in the event of a possible difficult landing. .

In the end the landing was done safely, no one was hurt, but the press was able to talk to several passengers later. Someone heard a loud bang about three-quarters of an hour after take-off, but said the flight crew had remained calm the whole time, checked the plane’s kit and stopped distributing food.

Before landing, according to the report, the pilots told passengers that they were going to land on another runway and that an engineering team would immediately arrive on the plane to assess the problem. The hole was created in the aerodynamic between the wings and the cockpit, and is suspected to have been caused by a piece of metal sticking out from around the landing gear.
