Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced at a press conference in Moscow Thursday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto that Russia will immediately consider Hungary’s request for additional gas shipments.

“It is in the interest of our countries to fully implement the long-term contracts concluded last year to export natural gas from Russia. Today, our colleagues informed us that the Hungarian government is interested in buying more natural gas this year,” he added. “We will immediately report this request and consider it,” the Russian minister said.
