Rockstar Games, the producer of GTA, wants to draw attention to gender equality.
Rockstar Games has always been proud of its frankly bourgeois style that breaks taboos, sometimes pushes boundaries, but in recent years they have had to realize that a company culture that evokes a boys’ locker room atmosphere can’t last long. The GTA 6, the stakes are raised, because for the first time the game series will have a controllable heroine, and on top of that, Latina will have a Bonnie and Clyde-like relationship with the game’s other male protagonist. According to the original plans, they were going to make the biggest GTA game ever, which would have included a fictional North and South American replica, but the company eventually limited its ambition and decided to take GTA 6 in Miami and surrounding areas (similar to Vice City).
