The Asus ROG Phone 6 series, aimed specifically at gamers, made its debut in July, and the Pro version of the series topped the AnTuTu top list that month. Recently, another variant appeared in the benchmark application database, with slightly better results, but with a Dimensity 9000+ processor inside. It is said that the smartphone will be called ROG Phone 6D upon its launch.
The smartphone in question scored 1146594 points in the AnTuTu test, and appeared in the database with the model number ASUS_AI2203_D. Although this result cannot be considered fully official yet, the device powered by the MediaTek chip produced a 2-3% better result than the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The above score is for overall performance, but the CPU scored 290,000 points, nearly 15 percent better than any Qualcomm chipset has ever scored. By the way, the full result indicates the performance of all hardware components, including the processor, graphics accelerator, RAM and user interface.
So far, Asus hasn’t said anything about plans to launch new ROG Phone smartphones, but according to our calculations, the ROG Phone 6D powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ that appeared in AnTuTu database may debut in the near future. In addition to the current test results, this is also indicated by the fact that the device has also gone through the certification procedure by the 3C Bureau, which the mobile phone has normally passed. Even the Asian office documents reveal that the battery inside the phone will support 65W fast charging.
