There is no code in the demo video for Townfall

According to the Scottish studio, there are things that were hidden in the ad video and we haven’t found them yet…

It has long been rumored that Annapurna Interactive also has a connection to the Silent Hill IP, which Konami confirmed then this week (which is how we found out that Bloober Team is actually working on Silent Hill 2 Remake, which was already mentioned in the news today). But with the ad announcement, the developers were really deceiving! The developers of Silent Hill: Townfall have asked fans to watch it again to see if they can spot what they missed the first time around.

Reddit user finally captured the audio track of the video to do so with a spectrogram check. This was the result, but it is still questionable whether this is what No Code was referring to, or whether there are still more mysteries. The IGN He first wrote about the discovery by Reddit user MilkManEX: The Hungarian-language spectrogram message sounds like any heart this small town has had, it’s now discontinued. There was another message, but it wasn’t hidden either: Morse code was just an SOS message. And the spectrogram message might just be part of the game’s description…

Silent Hill: Townfall Creative Director John McKellan said of the game: “Being able to work on this game with our friends at Annapurna is a dream come true. It’s a real honor for us to expand the series with a new title that respects the source material but treats it a little differently. Saying Silent Hill inspired No Code still wouldn’t do it justice. Our two previous games, Stories Untold and Observation, were the same deep psychological horror.Weave this story and experience into every aspect of the game’s design: the sound, the visuals, and even the user interface.Obviously That the trailer is just the beginning, and we can’t show more yet.” More of them will be shown in 2023.
