The police Academy It is one of the most famous films of the 80s, in Hungary there is hardly a week that we do not play at least one part of it. The original Police Academy, the first in the series, was released in 1984 and immediately became a hit thanks to its unique sense of humor and a blockbuster cast, whose sense of humor was fading away. The film was such a success that 6 more parts were made of it, one of which actually took place in Russia. It all begins when people who do not belong at first glance do not want to join the ranks of the police, but of course life makes them different.

In our country, we probably know him only from the films of the police academy, but in the USA he is famous for many works, appearing in dozens of extras in films and hundreds of serial episodes during his career. Television also brought him fame when he starred in the sitcom Laverne & Shirley for six seasons in the 1980s. Then came the highly successful Police Academy, but we later also saw him as a character on Baywatch.
Leslie Easterbrook later married M*A*S*H writer Dan Wilcox.
The Police Academy still has an amazingly large fan base, so reunions have been held several times in America, where fans can meet the stars.
