If you remember, Google Samsung released Android 13 on August 15, and Samsung released the first stable update to One UI 5 based on it on October 24. Since then, the South Korean manufacturer has delivered the new software to many devices at perfect speed, and not only flagships have received the required support, but also a large number of mid-range mobile phones. However, Samsung does not stop there, next year it wants to be more efficient and faster when it comes to updates.
Samsung recently put out a post on their South Korean site, where they “brag” about how quickly they were able to release One UI 5 and that they are trying to make it available on as many devices as possible as quickly as possible. In addition to all this, they have assured everyone that their goal is to be able to introduce the upcoming One UI systems in the future faster and even to more models. Although this is not a concrete and tangible promise that can be calculated online, we doubt that Samsung headquarters takes this statement seriously.
The commitment is also underlined by how seriously they’ve taken the issue of software updates this year, and the fact that they’ve been offering longer and longer support for their devices. A few years ago they were only in the midfield in terms of updates and support, but now they are practically on top. In addition to this improvement, it is commendable that they feel there is room for improvement and that they want it.
Samsung also provided some details, which will mainly be enjoyed by Galaxy A52s 5G and Galaxy A33 owners. These devices will receive the next One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13, sometime before the end of this year. Strengthening the line of bendable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also benefits from the new software. The Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 models will continue to be updated, if everything goes well, all users will receive the new system before the end of November.
