Oppo introduced its latest foldable phones, and the Find N2 became a competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, and the Find N2 Flip is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Motorola RAZR 2022, but with a larger external screen. Let’s take a quick look at the information!
OPPO Find N2
Compared to its predecessor, the Find N2 has become slightly narrower, thinner and lighter, and when folded, it is exactly 72.6mm wide, 14.6mm thick (only 7.4mm when opened) and weighs 233g. One of the big innovations is that the improved flexible hinge, which consists of fewer parts, is still durable, and thanks to this, it manages to reduce creasing on the inner screen by 67%. The device can be used in many different positions, it stops at any angle between 45 and 125 degrees.
The internal display remains 7.1 inches, the aspect ratio is very close to square (9.6:9), and it uses an LTPO AMOLED panel, whose image refresh rate adaptively varies between 1Hz and 120Hz. Touch detection is at 480Hz, and the maximum brightness can reach 1550 nits.
The screen diagonal of the external display is 5.54 inches, it is also 120 Hz AMOLED (but not LTPO), capable of a brightness of 1350 nits, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
There is a triple camera on the back with a 50MP, 1.56″ Sony IMX890 sensor, which of course also has OIS. It comes with a 48MP 1/2″ IMX581 module with ultra wide angle lens, and a 32MP 2x telephoto camera with IMX709 sensor.
There are two selfie cameras, there is a 32MP sensor in both screens, but you can also take selfies with the rear cameras thanks to the external screen.
The cameras are controlled by the MariSilicon X image processing unit, which is jointly developed by Oppo and Hasselblad.
The Find N2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery capacity is still 4520mAh and supports 67W fast charging, which can charge the battery to 37% in just 10 minutes, and it takes 42 minutes to fully charge.
The phone already comes with Android 13 from the factory, and the ColorOS 13 interface is responsible for the appearance and additional functions. The Find N2 will be launched in China soon, and there is no word on international sales yet, but the Flip version will fortunately be available in other regions as well.
Oppo Find N2 Flip
One of the main attractions of the Oppo Find N2 Flip, in addition to its compact size, is its large 3.62-inch external display, which is a 60Hz OLED panel with a resolution of 720 x 382 pixels. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s secondary screen measures just 1.9 inches.
And inside, there is a 6.8-inch, 120Hz bendable AMOLED elongated screen, which actually uses LTPO technology, that is, its image refresh is completely adaptive. It supports HDR10 + technology, and its brightness can reach 1600 nits.
The N2 Flip is powered by Dimensity 9000+, which is also a modern and powerful top chip. It comes with 8, 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
There is a dual camera on the back with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle module, and a 32MP selfie camera this time around. The MariSilicon X unit does the image processing duties here, too.
The battery capacity is 4300mAh, which is currently the largest among foldable phones with a foldable design, and the 44W fast charging is also not weak.
Oppo Find N2 Flip will definitely be launched outside of China and there is a good chance that it will also be available in Europe, but the sales details are not known yet.
