After eight years as Valorant’s game director, Joe Ziegler has taken on a new role at Destiny developer Bungie, saying that Bungie’s game director is now “working on new things that we hope one day you’ll be able to play.”
Ziegler has helped Riot’s Valorant team for over eight years in command, but before that, he joined Riot as a game designer in 2010 after working at Pandemic Studios and Killspace Entertainment, where he held both designer and director roles. Bungie’s current flagship game is of course Destiny, and the studio has several vacancies at the same time announcethey were looking for candidates who know MMO games and mobile games.
Ziegler He has not yet announced the game or the games he will be working on at Bungie, but he’s happy with the move. However, he said goodbye to his Riot mates with some poignant words when he announced his departure on December 7.
